1. Acceptance
By using TankWise or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Educational purpose
TankWise is a freshwater aquarium record-keeping and educational comparison tool. Water ranges, stocking estimates, plant-fit results, and livestock compatibility scores are estimates, not guarantees, laboratory measurements, veterinary advice, or a substitute for direct observation and trusted species research.
You remain responsible for livestock purchases, aquarium care, animal welfare, and decisions made using TankWise information.
3. Local user content
You are responsible for tank details, water readings, notes, photos, receipts, and other content stored in TankWise. Avoid storing sensitive personal or payment information. Local records can be lost if app storage or browser data is cleared, the app is uninstalled, or the device is lost or damaged.
4. Catalog and online information
Built-in and optional online fish or plant information can be incomplete, generalized, or inaccurate. Species behavior and individual aquariums vary. Review important fields and use more than one trusted source before relying on them.
5. Beta participation and feedback
Beta versions are unfinished software. They can contain defects, change without notice, lose test data, or stop working. Do not rely on a beta build as the only record of aquarium information or as a substitute for direct observation and established animal-care practices.
Applying does not guarantee selection, an invitation, continued access, or a public release. Simply Submerged Aquatics may select testers based on program needs and may change or end participation.
Do not include confidential information, passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive content in an application or feedback. By submitting feedback, you give Simply Submerged Aquatics permission to review, use, and incorporate that feedback to improve TankWise without payment or obligation to adopt it. Personal information associated with feedback remains subject to the privacy policy.
6. Free plan and Unlimited Tanks
TankWise includes one fully featured freshwater tank without purchase. Unlimited Tanks is an optional non-consumable, one-time purchase that lets you create and manage additional tanks. It is not a monthly or yearly subscription.
The intended launch price is $9.99 USD for the first 100 completed purchases, followed by a standard price of $14.99 USD. Regional prices and taxes may differ. The price Google Play displays before confirmation controls your transaction.
If a purchase is refunded, revoked, or cannot be verified, one tank remains editable and other saved tanks may become view-only until the purchase is restored. TankWise does not delete those local records merely because the entitlement is unavailable.
7. Physical products
The TankWise 2-in-1 Aquarium Test Tube and Test Strip Holder is a physical product sold through Etsy by Simply Submerged Aquatics. Current pricing, colors, stock, delivery, returns, and seller terms are provided on the live Etsy listing. Buying the physical product does not unlock Unlimited Tanks.
8. Availability and changes
Features, catalogs, platform availability, and pricing can change. TankWise may be updated, paused, or discontinued where permitted by law. Store availability is subject to Google or Apple review.
9. No warranties
TankWise and this website are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Simply Submerged Aquatics disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Simply Submerged Aquatics is not liable for aquarium or livestock loss, lost local data, indirect damages, or decisions made using TankWise estimates.
